A note on SLTFTA
The SLTFTA can reduce tariffs on qualifying goods — but eligibility is never automatic. It depends on the correct HS classification, satisfying the applicable rule of origin, and holding a valid Certificate of Origin at the time of import. We treat every potential saving as an estimate until it is verified and confirmed by Sri Lanka Customs.
